I initially thought that words starting with Q were tough to land a post on. I didn’t realize that there are tons of words starting with Q, and I could have gone in several directions.
Question? Do I throw out a “do you have a question for me, I will be happy to answer…” post? Maybe I will in future but not today.
Quest! That’s a good one, let’s go on a journey. What are we searching for? What have we found?
Quandary – well, that’s where I was with this post, perplexed about the content for Q.
Let’s be inspired today. Let’s find a good quote.

I’ve been hitting a dry spell with my memoir writing efforts. Trying to find what is interesting, something more compelling, as many of my memories seem mundane or trivial.
My writers’ group discussion earlier today reinforced Michelle Obama’s words for me. I have my own unique story. I have an authentic voice. There is no worse or better – there is just me and my story.
So I just need to own it.

Perfect quote! And she’s right, owning your unique awesome is the best gift you can give yourself! You’ve got this!

That’s a lovely photo. Your point about your memories feeling mundane, I think of the Little House on the Prairie books. A lot of the scenes there wasn’t much going on, but the books were enchanting.

So many people tell me I should write about my life but to me, that would be SO boring. They disagree but at 77, I don’t see it happening. Good luck with your memoir!Donna: Click for my 2025 A-Z Blog
