What books do I have currently borrowed from the library?
Heart on My Sleeve – Stories From a Life Well Worn – by Jeanne Beker

A memoir by a Canadian icon – I have admired her since her “New Music” days, watched as she established Fashion Television, interviewed supermodels and designers, globe trotting with her microphone. Making fashion approachable, which I just gobbled up. She was recently treated for breast cancer and has been very open with her journey. I am looking forward to this!
We Use to Live Here – Marcus Kliewer
A modern horror story, I heard about it on the radio. Another Canadian read I am looking forward to.

Conversations on Love – Natasha Lunn

Something different for me. It has great reviews on Goodreads and seems uplifting.
How I will get through these while blogging and writing it remains to be seen.
What is on your to be read list?
I have never read any of these books, and just went and added Conversations on Love to my loans! I am always looking for good recommendations. A couple that are currently on my holds queue are: All Fours, Margo’s Got Money Troubles, and James.

I just started listening to The Ministry of Time this morning, and am enjoying that so far. I have Playground, by Richard Powers on hold at the library but itβs a 9 week wait. I may break down and buy it.

I haven’t heard of any of these books! My books haven’t gotten much love since NaBloPoMo started! From the library, I currently have a few books checked out: Girls They Write Songs About (print), Our Woman in Moscow (print), and The Spectaculars (audio).

I’m finishing up Morning Riser. It’s quirky and so funny. I hope to read my first Elizabeth Strout book when I’m done. My Name is Lucy Barton. I haven’t heard of any of the books you have checked out. I do enjoy a good memoir.

I hope you’ll enjoy all these books and get back with your recommendations! For me, I need to finish my book club book today, one by Irish Claire Keegan. It’s short but since I am blogging every day my reading time has been a bit lost. π
