It’s been nice to have some time off before the new year.

It’s been an interesting transition back to full-time work -I’ve gotten used to it quickly. This is the first New Year’s Eve in years that we are celebrating alone, just the two of us, in the longest time. Both kids are off with their friends. A quiet evening as a couple. A glass or two of wine and some bubbly to ring in 2026. I’m happy with that.
