My sister took me to Kandl Artistique Yorkville for a candle making workshop for my birthday (I plan on celebrating all year, BTW) this past weekend.
It was so much fun, to choose my own scents – Top, Middle, Base Notes – to create something that will burn for 60 hours.
I named the candle accordingly!
She even had a delish charcuterie board made for the occasion.
It was definitely worth the trip downtown!
What do you think about celebrating milestone birthdays all year ?

what a great way to celebrate!!! And yes, you should absolutely celebrate all year.
The only workshops that I’ve ever participated in are 1. Pottery making (in Poland), and 2. Paint and sip (to create a painting). Those were fun for sure. I liked the pottery one better, it was so soothing.

I love this! We have a candle-making workshop here and I’ve made so many candles, haha. It’s fun to come up with a name for the candle! But choosing the right scents can be SO difficult.
